(Glamping) 2019
My family, minus one son who was not able to go, stayed at Runach Arainn ('Secret or Beloved Arran' in Gaelic). It is a small, intimate glamping site on the south end of the Isle of Arran, Scotland. The islands history dates back as far as the Stone Age, perhaps as far as 7,000 B.C. There is evidence of this history around the island.
The Church of Scotland-Kilmory Parish Church
Uninhabited island in the outer Firth of Clyed, "Ailsa Craig". Formed from the volcanic plug of an extinct volcano. Commonly called "Paddy's milestone". Once a gathering place for Catholics in the 16th century. Today it is a bird sanctuary.
